Has anyone spoken more words without saying anything? He's on the morning show discussing three Sabres goalies, Tuch, potential trades for over 20 minutes and added absolutely nothing to the general body of knowledge. And here I am hoping to get a morsel of new information.

A morsel of information from Paul? I really thought you were smarter than that.

In an era where any statistic is available and the players lives are out in the public for consumption, PHam still manages to not bring any noteworthy information about the team he’s covering. He consistently sounds like someone doing a book report on a book he never read. He must draw only a pittance from his employer as anyone in any WNY media capacity would do 10x the job.

Jenna Cottrel from News 10 in Rochester is an avid Sabres fan and posts content regularly. Kris Brown, Matthew Fairborn, Chad D (I’m not even gonna try to spell it), hell half the posters on this site would provide better content than Paul Hamilton.

I guess whoever pays him (WGR?) is getting what they want. Not sure what exactly that is.

Not knowing or saying anything useful is a long standing tradition at WGR.

Yeah, ever since Reinhart moved on, there hasn't really even been anything in a car wreck sort of manner to pay attention to with the Ham Sammich.

Well, if Ham Sammich decided to move on, the folks at GR might just be impressed with that resume.  Might pay to send it in.  😉

I could just be like a 3rd wheel on Dope and the Lapdog and argue with them the whole time. 🤣

This is a good thread for me to complain about that kid Owen.  I really can’t stand listening to him.  It’s not what he has to say, rather the war he says it.  He tries so hard to sound like his father it annoys me so much.
Kid needs to find his own voice.

Nepo hire, which is apparently the only way to get a job at WGR.

That would be an improvement.

Hamilton has always been a fan of Tuch, big time fan.

He personally wants the team to re-sign him for almost any cost, and most of his 'reporting' on Tuch slants toward his personal view.

Hammy went after the Sabres for the "insulting" alleged offer of $8.5MM/yr, but Mr. Sabres Reporter never discusses what the impact would be of emptying the Sabres cap on Tuch. I assume he knows there's only $11.9MM available, right?

I listened to it. He was asked questions, gave answers.

I didn’t hear 1 question on what he’s heard, merely what his thoughts were on Larkin, the goalies, Tuch.

I am confused by the outrage here.

More frustration than outrage. I don't find Hamiltion's answer very insightful for a guy who's covered the Sabres for decades.
