Unless, which was the reason I was asking upthread when Montreal fans were doing it early in the game (which was likely game 4), your team has lit the opposing goalies up the previous 2 games. Might as well try to get in the goalie's head early, especially if it's UPL. 4D chess.

We were doing it from the opening series puck drop.  Thats not 4D chess.  Its not even 2D checkers.

This is true. It is also true she is meh.  I like a cast of characters that are out there trying to create something fun and entertaining.  Like the guy from boston I believe recently retired.  If it is just someone sjnging it well, have some kid or up and comer do it.

I'd prefer to listen to the drunk chick from the home run derby sing the national anthem than to have to listen to the current Bruins opera singer do it every night. That's just annoying.

We will have to disagree on Meh.  Better than every kid I’ve ever seen at a Sabres game (but have missed many an opening anthem and catch most games after puck drop).

Of the anthem singer? So you'd intentionally torture your own fans and the home team 41+ game per year on the off chance that the visiting team is even paying attention during the anthem? 🤷‍♂️
