If they're going to have a set of alternate darks, have felt for a long time that something to this effect should be that alternate set.

Agree 100%.  But if the league is going to essentially force alternates on the teams, something like THIS should be that alternate set.

It seems like a no-brainer all things considered. Fwiw, I didn't like the look of the white blue and gold reverse retro goatheads from a few years ago but I'm interested to see the results here.

Having said that, I'm a classic crest blue and gold guy all the way.

The MLB does City Connect.  I loved the inaugural Texas Rangers city connect.  The current ones are fine, but they don't match the originals.

The first ones literally connected the two cities of Dallas and Fort Worth with the "Peagle" shoulder emblem... a winged panther that linked the previous minor league Fort Worth Cats and Dallas Eagles.  And I just liked the color scheme.  The new ones tap into the Mexican/Tejano heritage of the area (including the spelling of Tejas across the jersey front and the various Mexican motifs).  I like the concept but the color scheme, especially the jersey, is too monochromatic.
