There is a real chance that Vegas and Montreal will play in the finals. They have the two goalies playing the best. Goaltenders are the running backs of hockey. I was thinking of swapping my flag on my house yesterday, but thought about how fun the season was and how nice it is to be a Sabres fan with emotion again. Happy to keep flying the flag a bit longer! When the Bills lose in the playoff these days, I can barely bare to watch any more football. But this Sabres season has me a bit more eager for even more hockey. 1 Quote
muppy Posted May 21 Report Posted May 21 I will watch the rest of the playoffs with zero stress and angst. Clearly the sport itself is worthy to watch.. . That alone is enough to hold my interest. And a lot of you know these players from having played for Buffalo. so other than teams we have faced in the playoffs I am not super invested in who ends up champion Except Im petty enough to hope Montreal gets creamed in this next round. On the other hand if the Habs win the cup you could say we went to a game 7 in a series against them. Good for us pfft yeah NOPE that will just make me MORE bitter anyway we shall see. There's the old adage that you cheer for the team that beat you to win, but man, I cannot get beind Montreal either. So, I guess, gulp, go canes go. 2 Quote
