Amazing.   We all love what Östlund and Konsta look like and are excited about their future.
its easy to forget that Kulich was ahead of them in their development before the blood clot issues

Could use that lefty shot on the wing.  Especially with a potential loss of zucker due to cap constraints.

A question for the medical people: would you ever expect a clotting issue to end an early 20 something’s career?

If there was an issue requiring him to be on anticoagulation long term, I think it would be a player safety issue in a sport like hockey.

It ended Chris Bosh’s career in late 20’s.although he kept trying to comeback till like 32.

So our first line center will be ready to go. Well that is who he was under the Adams plan. It will be very interesting to see where he slots in. I hope it works out for him.

Though he was ahead of them, not convinced it was because he's necessarily better than either.  Being a smidge older than the other 2 does convey some built in advantages when all are talented and just coming into the league.

Kulich is 4/14/2004 and Östlund is 3/11/2004.

Great news.

Jiri can shoot like Olofsson and Quinn but can play C and is sturdier than those two. Even if there is no room for him he is an asset that can be moved for something they need.

I like that they drafted C’s like Östlund, Kulich and Helenius. They can play any forward position but could also be long term solutions for the C spine.

I still think Kulich’s skill set is not of an NHL Center. He’s 100% shoot first player.  Not sold on his defense either, the other main attribute required of a center. For all the face off blow hards, that’s not in his repertoire either.
