None of the players acquired at the trade dead line played last night...

All KA's team

Just saying

So, you think he should've been one of the finalists?

You should of read a "yes" in that answer

Why?  Several GM's built great teams.

Not sure of any others that needed to be relieved of their duties to allow the team that was built, over a ridiculously long period btw, to see the team come close to reaching its potential.

Building a great team is necessary but not sufficient for a GM. I don't know why his departure coincides with the team's success, but I struggle to see it as pure coincidence.

Oh, so because he was scapegaoted for the teams lack of success at the time he wasn't a good GM? Whatever

Anyone missing?

Nope, nobody is missing. (Unless you are implying Ruff, who saved Adams ass, should have gotten an honorable mention).

That is not an answer to the question.  It was a simple 'yes' or 'no.;

No.

Adams is not a GM

So if Pat Verbeek is walking down the road and BAM! He is tragically run down by a truck and passes, he can't win the award?

I'm joking

A good potion of the Sabrehood is still trying to square that circle; cheering for this cup contending team while insisting the man who put it together was incompetent.

Jarmo has been with the Sabres since May 2025. Assuming he had no input on personnel decisions since that time is a bit of a stretch. Just sayin’.

That’s the big wild card here. We’ll never really know how much influence he had at the start.

He was incompetent.  His claim to fame is that he didn't completely eff up the high draft picks he deservedly earned.

Pegula finally wised up and put some adults in the room who pulled Kevin's ass out of the fire.

Good luck to anyone who hires him.

And yet pretty much every personnel move he made was a hit. Gee whiz. And those draft picks? Most folks hated them when he made them. In fact every move he made was panned because it was assumed Kevy didn't know what he was doing.

You're making my point.

And even more.  lol.  You crack me up.  Thanks for the laughs.  Seriously.
