If the Sabres don’t win tonight, I am committing Seppuku on the edge of the Falls and as I plummet into the watery depths I will cry out to God asking why I couldn’t have one ***** sports championship in my life and that he owes me so bad and I better be reincarnated as one of the French connection in a different timeline.

And before anyone says it, no this isn’t too dramatic. I don’t know why people keep telling me I’m dramatic.

I can do the easy ones, but beyond that...

If he does have an injured wrist, why would they let him take faceoffs?  Especially the ever important d-zone ones

Your guess is as good as mine, must be something significant though, given his current level of play.

James, Sabres trading cards, Gator Produce keys. We got this. Ready the griddle. (Snipped for later gloat-posting.)

Kathy, 1970 Pontiac, 3 hooks in the back.

Welp, the kid bought tickets to the arena for tonight while I was traveling last week. Guess I am going.

Hoping it's not an end to the season, but I'm concerned because they've not looked like they have answers to Montreal. They've only looked like they've been able to hang on a few times.

They’ve only got to hang on a couple times more

I think our fairy tale ends tonight. Not being pessimistic, but I don't think this group has the juice needed; and certainly not enough to win 2 in a row against this blazing fast Habs team.

We've been outworked and outplayed this entire series, save for a half a period here or there.

Would enjoy being very wrong on this, but just calling it how I'm seeing it.

In any event, if we do go down, go down swinging.

Montreal lost to Tampa in Montreal last series with a chance to clinch the series. I think Montreal does not let that happen again, so says my head. My heart says, "Destroy them and send their fans home miserable again"! FWIW, I have a big heart but not a big brain, so I am optimistic.

How many people are you expecting to be there tonight?

That’s an odd logical leap right there.

1/2 x 1/2 = 1/4 or 25% (win 2 coin flips in a row)

Sabres need to be "heads I win, tails you lose"

Teams in Montreal's position (leading 3-2, started the series on the road) have won 60.2% of the time in Game 6.

“The odds suggest that Montreal wins tonight. Now let’s present to you supporting statistics from a completely different scenario.” ESPN is brining their A game yet again.

Greetings sabres peeps. I am dialed in for the duration. Not too high not loo low. I can't dwell on the negatives here because I will be sad if the playoff ride ends tonight.

and I don't live sad on purpose

GO SABRES

The last time I had Gabe’s Gate before a Sabres game was 12/22/2010 on my 19th birthday right after getting my first tattoo. The Sabres won that game 5-2. I’m there now. Dial up a repeat.
