Sit Tage. Injured or not, he basically cost them game 6.

No more room for his selfish, lazy play.

Injured wrist? Doesn’t excuse not skating. Doesn’t excuse taking moronic penalties. No room for the player he has been in this series, it’s an eliminatiom game, and it’s time Ruff pulled a “Michal Grosek” on him.

It has been a magical season from my point of view. I am not ready for it to end. They don’t all need to have their A game to beat the Habs but they need some players to step up and have a game.

It’s a team game and they need to tighten up as a unit and get some timely saves. Staying out of the box is obviously a difference maker.

They won in Montreal last time, why not this time.

Let’s go Buffalo!

It's do or die time. The season is on the line. It's hockey night in Canada to boot.

Sabres are on network TV in prime time. Will they show up tonight and force a game 7?

really curious about the lineup tonight. I'd like to see Lindy shuffle the top lines.

Maybe something like:

Doan - Thompson - Benson
Quinn - Norris - Tuch
Krebs - Helenius - Zucker
Greenway - McCleod - Malystyn

Also Power is hurt. Even if he plays can he do his usual 20+ minutes? We can't afford Schenn tonight. I'd rather see Metsa or Kesserling, but at least Stanley. Schenn is just too slow to keep up with Montreal

We really need Power to be good to go for this one. If not then we are going to be in trouble in our own end. How badly injured is Carrick?

If Thompson or Tuch are not 110% compete in the first period, cut their minutes. Get their attention.

Both must play good D and get points tonight.

That's a good question. I was counting him out too. Helenius took his spot, and I don't want him to come out. If he's good enough to go, who do you bench? Zucker maybe, he finally scored albeit on that crazy redirect. Besides, I'm not sure I'd take any of the bottom line out. For as bad as McCleod has been on the top 6, he's still one of our best PKers, so I'm not sure he can come out for Carrick. At this point though, whatever it takes to win

I think our fairy tale ends tonight. Not being pessimistic, but I don't think this group has the juice needed; and certainly not enough to win 2 in a row against this blazing fast Habs team.

We've been outworked and outplayed this entire series, save for a half a period here or there.

Would enjoy being very wrong on this, but just calling it how I'm seeing it.

In any event, if we do go down, go down swinging.

I was pounding the table for something like this early on. But now I am not sure you shuffle the second line.

And I am adamant that Tage needs time on the wing. Don't understand why we won't. We've done it in the past and it's been a good reset.

I'd also pull Tage from PP1. Since the addition of Doan and Benson it's like we're running two different PP's at the same time. Tage is basically only taking shots from up high and passes to Dahlin like 75% of the time. We need one more player to help open it up.

Win today and I’m happy. I get to get all bunched up again for game seven.

Lose today and I’m happy. I don’t have to get all bunched up for game seven.

Every player on this team knows what they need to do.  Montreal would love to clinch at home.  Let’s ruin their day.

This is a true Must Win.
