Thread to Try to Unload Extra Playoff Tix (Was Have an Extra Pair of Tix to Game 5 Thursday)

FYI,

The person that was supposed to take my spare pair of tix for game 5 Thursday night is now unable to go. So I have a pair of tix available to that game. The tickets are in section 306 which is center ice up high and are in the 1st row. Sabres were asking $360/seat for the seats one row back.

I am asking for $400 for the pair.

Send a PM if interested.

Would like to know a Sabre fan is getting the tix, but will list them on TicketMaster for quite a bit more if they haven't been spoken for by early afternoon.

Tons of tickets are listed on the Ticketmaster website for Thursday’s game. Expect many Montreal fans as it appears that the combination of high ticket prices and poor performances in the last two games has caused many fans to abandon the Sabres. Will be interesting to see if that changes if Sabres win Tuesday night.

It will be a Montreal home game unfortunately. Sad to see in the playoffs.

Hadn't even looked at the website to see what was available.  Will be doing so this afternoon if nobody wants the tix.  Oh, well.

I am upset with the powers that be in the Sabres business department that decided to set the face value ticket prices at way too high a price for this round.  I find it hard to fathom that PLAYOFF tickets are sold by the team at a much higher price than the secondary market (with 2 passionate fan bases).  For Game 1, including the fees, I spent almost $1,400 on two tickets in the corner of the 200 level in buying directly from the Sabres through Ticketmaster.  You could buy much better tickets on the resale market for $300-400 each.

I made the poor decision to buy tickets for all 3 games and have to take major loss on selling the tickets for Thursday's game as well. (Which are in the 300 level like yours Taro).  If there is a game 7, I hope that the demand will be much higher so that I can at least sell those tickets for face value.

I'm a half season ticket member for next year and "took advantage" of the opportunity to buy a couple of extra tickets for this round. I bought 2 tickets in section 110 and was charged $400 each. I won't get that back so may just give them to friends so they can enjoy what may be the last hockey game of the season.

I can't afford it.  I already spent way too much to get these tickets and decided to go to Game 1. Now I have Game 5 and Game 7 tickets I must unload.

My tickets are no longer available.  Thanks to the person that stepped up.  Also, thanks to those that inquired before I was able to tell people someone stepped up.  I'll leave this thread open so others that have tix they need to get rid of can try to do so without going through TicketMaster and selling almost definitely to a Habs fan.

So if Sabrespacer, or Buffalo Fan Friend wants 2 tickets to tomorrow's Game 5, here are my tickets I need to sell:

Section 318, Row 8, Seats 21 & 22

For the 2 tickets I paid a total of $808.30 ($404.15 each) buying them directly from the Sabres through Ticketmaster the moment they were put on sale to the public.

As I know the resale market is lower than face value right now, I'm willing to sell them for a loss.
Make me an offer. I just want to make sure they go to a Sabres fan!

 

In addition to helping ensure these tickets do not go to a Montreal fan, you will also be helping my marriage (I already overspent on tickets for Game 1 and my wonderful but frugal bride is NOT happy with me for spending more $ on another game this series).
