And yet it didn’t happen. It’s not going to happen now. LET’S GO BUFFALO!!! 1 1 Quote

Saw two other Sabres jerseys and 50 thousand Habs jerseys in our half hour walk. Even the two Sabres fans had their head down and wouldn’t join the Sabres on the warpath chant. Sabrehood doesn’t travel like Bills Mafia. There is no NFL team where fandom is wrapped into national identity. Playing the Habs is like playing the Québécois national team. Quote

Which was absolutely horrible judgment on Jarmos part. Hated trading for Norris to begin with given the injury history. Never thought we'd be able to get rid of him. The opportunity presents itself and lo and behold we say no. Quote

PASabreFan Posted May 10 Report Posted May 10 Good lord. I dusted the TV. I washed my Sabres hoodie. I freed a bug from a spider web. I agreed to work at 630 in the AM. It's in the hands of higher powers now. 1 2 2 Quote

Sabrehood doesn’t travel like Bills Mafia. I've been wearing Sabres colors every day that I've been out and about for the last couple of weeks around town and I'm finding the same thing. I've been in lots of stores, more than a few restaurants, gone for more than a few walks, and the number of people wearing Sabres colors I could count on a couple of hands at the most. The only Sabres type recognition I got was one car beep that I think was for me and a nice lady who works in the Timmy's near me who speaks in broken English said "I like Sabres" when she saw my hat. I might have hugged her if she wasn't behind the counter. At least everyone I said "Go Sabres" to always responded in like and did it with some enthusiasm. Earlier today I went out for a walk and the only Sabres colors I had on at that time was my hat, but some guy on roller blades went whizzing by me real fast hauling a large blue Sabres flag through the neighborhood. He was by me so quick I only had time to yell Go Sabres but he waved back at me and yelled something back that I couldn't hear. Seeing him with that flag on blades made my day. 1 Quote

RETURNTOGLORY Posted May 10 Report Posted May 10 We should use our regular lines on the PP. Each player knows the idiosyncrasies of one another and it's a more natural alignment. Augment with our two BEST offensive defensemen! 1 Quote

You should be the only one there yelling in English and I expect some profanities to come through my stereo. Montreal fans do not sell their tickets. I wish Sabres fans had the same mentality, but it is what it is. 1 Quote
