They already maintain the facilities, and yeah, they'll probably get a better shot at any upgrade. 1 Quote

PTS Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 Yeah, this is rough. We all knew jersey ads were coming once the team got good again, but at least find a sponsor whose branding actually fits the Sabres identity. That logo looks completely out of place with the blue and gold ... plus the logo looks like it was bought on Fiverr for $50. Yuck! This is easily top three worst in the league along with Pens road jersey and Flyers home jersey. In a perfect world, Sabrett Hot Dogs would've been a perfect fit for the Sabres brand and hockey vibe. That said, I know they are more popular in NYC. Now we need to start worrying about the home sponsor. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 (edited) Money talks......, but it’s not any worse than the bright yellow Quikrete patch on the Braves uniform. Although the Quikrete sponsoring kind of explains why ex-Braves seem to just disappear. Edited May 8 by GASabresIUFAN Quote

LGR4GM Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 Should be a rule that the NHL makes, all jersey logos have to adhere to the primary colors of the jersey. 1 Quote

steveoath Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 I can understand wanting the sponsor, but that clashes so bad with one of the cleanest unis in the game. 1 Quote
kas23 Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 This kind of embarrassing tbh. They couldn’t even secure someone bigger. I would think Wegman’s was involved and likely declined. Quote
