K012010 Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 I’ve never understood the argument for a draft lottery to ‘prevent tanking’ If a franchise wants to go that route, there are other ramifications they will have to deal with. Financial, reputational, fan loyalty that is no guarantee to get back, etc. A supposed lottery just reeks of shenanigans and isn’t possible with worst is first. To prevent tanking is a terrible excuse imo and is just to allow them to rig it. If worst is first is good enough for the mighty NFL than it should be more than okay for the NHL. 1 2 Quote
