Assassin Caterpillar.

Brazilian caterpillar in the Amazon that looks relatively harmless, one poke has the venom to cause internal hemorrhaging and subsequent death.

Don't let Benson touch you without your will and testament in order.

Fire ant.  Small.  Strong af.  Bite is extremely irritating unless you're allergic like Cryin' Charlie McAvoy appears to be; in which case it can be deadly.  😉

...bites typically cause painful, intensely itchy, and swollen red bumps, often with a small central puncture, appearing near the head, neck, or ears. Symptoms include significant swelling (sometimes golf ball-sized), persistent soreness, and sometimes "black fly fever," featuring headache, fever, nausea, and swollen lymph nodes.

Sounds like the symptoms opponents display after enough exposure to Benson.

Speaking of Benson, can someone post the Buffalo News article here? I’m not paying to read stuff about the team out in here in beautiful BC. Sure would be nice to dump the paywall. Imagine paying to read Harrington?

I'm grabbing dragon fly right off the git go. Tries to sew your ear shut then is gone.

Dragonflies are my favorite of all insects and one of my favorite of all animals in the wild kingdom. One of the most fascinating types is the hawker dragonfly, but for Benson, I have to go with either GreenDice's choice of horse fly or with deer flies, both so annoying. I'll pick deer flies because they never leave you alone and a single one will chase you all over.  You can't out run them, and you can't even out bicycle them unless you're going down hill, and they're harder to slap than horse flies.

Bald faced hornet

Bald faced hornets would seem like a great choice, but they are a type of wasp, and badgers dig up wasp nests and wipe them out. They are Yum-Yum to a badger. Badgers don't give a flying f**k about getting stung by them while they feast, unlike you or I who can set the new record for the 50 yard dash, even if you have bad knees, after getting stung once by one of those aggressive flying machines, ouch.

He's a horsehair worm. The videos are not for the squeamish, so won't post one here. But, Benson gets into the heads of his victims and makes them commit s*i#ide on ice. That's what a horsehair worm does.

Assassin Bug

Unassuming but deadly

Defecates on your bite wound

Then you contract a parasitic infection

TL/DR:  Honey Badger does give a *****...on your face.

A Tick - gets under your skin.  Feeds on your blood, and causes disease.

I hear you, but unfortunately, ticks are not insects.
