Would be surprised if he were back again so soon. Doubt they'd bring him in to do it, but Barnaby wouldn't be a bad choice. Mother's day is coming up this weekend. 5 Quote

Punch Posted May 4 Report Posted May 4 Personally, I'd like Perreault. He was a Montreal Jr. Canadien and if I understand correctly, his rights were territorially Montreal's until the expansion in 1970. Wasn't it a sticking point that he was supposed to be Jean Beliveau's successor under the old rules? Maybe it's more mythology than fact, but nevertheless, the French Connection is the heart and soul of the Sabres lore. The Habs were the first postseason opponent and also the opponent the first time they advanced from the 2nd round. Barnaby is a great choice, he can have Game 2. 2 Quote
Night Train Posted May 4 Report Posted May 4 Could have Ville Leino hit it softly with a snare drum brush. That would excite the masses ! 3 Quote

Fun fact, sat two rows behind his mother and girlfriend that Mother’s Day game. 2 Quote

PerreaultForever Posted May 4 Report Posted May 4 I was thinking this very thing. Call back to Buffalo's first playoff victory against Montreal. Pity all 3 aren't around to do it together. 17 hours ago, Andrew Amerk said: I’m going with Ryan Miller. It should have been him if there was a game 7 against Boston. The Lucic curse has been lifted after all. Quote
PASabreFan Posted May 4 Report Posted May 4 Danny Gare. He got the OT goal in Game 1 in 75. I *think* it was my introduction to Sabres hockey. 4 1 1 Quote
