Hopefully!? We need his face off dot expertise.

Per Puckpedia:

Carrick (arm) is not expected to be back in time to play in Buffalo's first-round series versus Boston, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.

Est. Return: May 9, 2026 (Game 3 or 4?)

Estimates provided by RotoWire and subject to change.

Carrick was playing some awesome playoff style hockey for us before he was injured. From the first time he stepped on the ice as a Sabre he added an extra element of excitement to our game. Can't wait till he's fully recovered and back on the ice.

Per Joe Yerdon last week, Carrick has a dressing stall setup in the locker room again and he's no longer wearing a sling.

On Friday evening on WGR, Bulldog said he heard from a trusted source at the time of the injury Carrick could return by the ECF but inferred it could change.

Why put a player who's not fully healthy on the ice when you've got more than enough healthy players now?  I look forward to Carrick's return whenever he's really ready,

By the way, any news on Östlund?

Not sure a guy with an arm/shoulder injury is going to be the same reliable faceoff guy. Maybe if he's 90% or more, but I'm skeptical

It's not a physical skill but a mental one.

Definitely 69%.

Well then, get one-armed Carrick back out on the ice!

Apparently not 😐

With each new round, his loss looks larger and larger.

Huh?  They won the first round without him.  The second hasn't even begun yet.

well the decision on wether Östlund or Carrick are ready to play is of course very much anticipated news.

I would think if a status was going to change it won't be until the last minute

If they can play great. if not next man up. It's  professional sports 101 and they will manage accordingly

Injuries suck. we have no choice but to trust the medical staff and status

So we are now officially on countdown mode until Wednesday  game day

my plan is to deep spring clean the next 3 days to burn off excess energy and at the end a Sabres playoff game AND a cleaner house lol

Win Win

GO SABRES

Yes, but what he brings becomes more and more important as the games likely get tighter and tighter.

Maybe.  We shall see.  They won a ton of games without him.
