Man who tf can stop Colorado

I was passing through Denver yesterday for work so I went to this game.

A couple things:

1. Great venue and good vibes.
2. Their fans (at least around me) were incredibly whiney. It caught us all by surprised.
3. Colorado is very good, but I don't think they're the super team they were made out to be at the beginning of the season. I think Carolina is the best time right now.

Colorado would blast Carolina in a 7 game series. Blast them

I think they'd sweep. Best case for Carolina would be 4-1.

Yeah im on the other side of the coin there. Colorado is just insane

I think Carolina is actually worse than what some of these posters are claiming. Not that Carolina sucks, they sure as heck don't, but there's no way they're better than Colorado. Not a chance

This is a bummer from Minnesota, although it wouldn't shock me to see them even up the series at home.

They're the only remaining team after Buffalo I could root for. Its a good thing the Sabres are on the warpath.

If the Sabres are out I do not root for anyone.  I just watch.

I've had the good fortune of being able to attend many games in Ball Arena the past few years.

1) It is a great place to watch a game

2) The fans do whine a fair amount. Penalty calls, non-calls, and even their own team's occasional struggles get more of a reaction than you'd expect.

3) I think they are closer to a super team than not. It doesn't show up all the time of course, but when they turn it on/lock on, it's something to behold.

There are a number of teams I’ll actively root against. Canes, Bruins, Laffs, Flyers…I’m pretty indifferent when it comes to the West.

I don't really care about the Leaves.  They're harmless and have been harmless throughout my life.  But I'll substitute the Senators in there.  Dirty in 2006, dirty in 2007, and dirty today.

(EDIT:  The Leaves fans are separate and distinct from the team.  The fans are jerks.)

Fortunately you never have to root against the leafs once the second round starts

Carolina gets 2 cinderella teams in Sens and Flyers whose clocks struck midnight.  What a joke.

The NHL must step in and no matter how much TV pressures them, give the Buffalo/Montreal winner at least 3 full days off to prepare.  They can’t allow such a blatant rest advantage for one club.  But again, TV slots are going to pressure the league to get going quickly.

I mean, we had Boston and they were very sweepable. Metrically, the worst Eastern team in the playoffs.
