#freejame Posted May 3 Report Posted May 3 I think we’re going to be looked at as the underdog in either series. I don’t think the room will care as much as the board. Either series will be a toss-up. I think I’d rather play Tampa, but at the end of the day they’re both beatable. There’s no reason why we can’t make it to the conference final. 1 1 Quote

I think we might be viewed as the underdog against Tampa because of experience only (and we saw how that worked out for Boston). As both teams are young, I think we’d be viewed as a pick’em against Montreal. I think we can beat either team. My only concern would be getting goalied by Vasilevskiy (and we saw how that worked out for Boston). Edited May 3 by SwampD 1 Quote

It can be, but Dobes has a little bit of that "WTF is he doing just now" thing that UPL gets every now and then that works against him. If Danault doesn't for some reason have his stick literally behind Dobes in the 2nd period of Friday's game, that game does not get to OT because Dobes was beaten cleanly 5 hole. And again, still not sure just WHY Danault was where he was, but luckily for them that's where he was. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted May 3 Report Posted May 3 I would be surprised if Montreal lost tonight. But that's why they play the game 1 Quote

BullBuchanan Posted May 3 Report Posted May 3 Who do we want? Montreal is more dangerous, but they seem more vulnerable. We've shown we can beat Tampa, but I imagine they'll play us very tough, and the way Swayman shut us down for stretches, i don't love going against Vasilevskiy when the chips are down. Quote
SwampD Posted May 3 Report Posted May 3 Why is this game on already? Did espn get the time wrong? Quote
French Collection Posted May 3 Report Posted May 3 Suzuki’s goal shows the value of firing at the net and having traffic in front. He tips the puck and it goes in off Moser’s shin. 2 Quote

We kicked TBs ass most games and Montreal we played even. I have no fear of TB, Montreal scares me as it likely would be a coin flip series with two teams that like to play a very similar style. 1 Quote

rickshaw Posted May 4 Report Posted May 4 Shots 22-4, Montreal none since first. Let’s hope this goes triple OT tonight. Quote

You really want to see the Habs let the Aisles continue to have the record for the fewest shots in a game 7 in the modern era, don't you. 😉 It'll take the game going at least that long for them to be able to do so at this rate. SABRES 0311 Posted May 4 Report Posted May 4 If it’s MTL they’ll come out fast. Buffalo will need to play a good team defense and rely on speedy counterattacks. 1 Quote
