Taro T Posted May 2 Report Posted May 2 A LIMITED NUMBER of playoff tix for round 2 will go on sale to the general public today at 3PM. Sabres recommend joining the queue before then. https://www.nhl.com/sabres/news/how-to-purchase-sabres-round-2-tickets Good luck to those trying to get them. Quote

Taro T Posted May 2 Author Report Posted May 2 (edited) Didn't spend much time looking around in the website, but of the few tix that were available, it looks like the 300's are going to be $250-$300/seat. Maybe you'll find something in a corner for a bit less, but the prices have gone up this round. Was seeing close to $600 for seats in the 100's. Didn't check the 200's. Good luck to all that are trying to get tix. Edited May 2 by Taro T 2 Quote
PASabreFan Posted May 2 Report Posted May 2 Join before 3 p.m.? Sure. Duh. But no point in being super early, like a Channel 2 reporter suggested last night. There's no advantage. Quote
Carmel Corn Posted May 2 Report Posted May 2 I sure hope local folks buy and KEEP their tickets….don’t want to see KeyBank become even a neutral ice venue for whoever we face in the second round….especially Hab fans. Quote

#freejame Posted May 2 Report Posted May 2 Buffalo is charging $250 for my seats during presale. I got them for $110. Everything is crazy pricey and the site isn’t even working. Quote

I would hope they would. They don’t deserve an extra day of rest having to go 7. With Carolina / Philly starting today I would also think the league doesn’t wants that series getting too far ahead. My guess is Tuesday / Thursday start at home. Quote

Good luck to all that are trying to get tix. When my chance came to shop, I went straight to Home Game #3 figuring there would be a better chance to cop a couple of tix in the end where the Sabres shoot twice before the seats are all gone and figuring there would still be a Home Game #3. I managed to get a couple of seats together in 300's where the Sabres shoot twice in a corner above the goalie for 250 each, 575 total with service charges, more than double the price I paid, ouch, for 2 tix in sec 108 of Game 2 of the first round that were 6 rows up from the ice, the game they lost. I can't begin to imagine how much higher the prices will continue to rise if the Sabres keep advancing. Regardless, I'll be happy to see all the rest of the games on TV. Doing a couple of playoff games this year was mainly for the excitement of the playoff experience, especially for my son who hadn't been to an NHL playoff game yet. The system they have of shopping is interesting. In the email they send to the mini pack holders they mention that shopping for tix starts at 12 noon. They sent the email with the special link some time before 11:30. I signed in immediately and saw that I was in line with 685 people ahead of me. I figured that everyone ahead of me in line would be able to choose ahead of me, but I don't know if that's the case or if everyone had to wait until 12 noon to shop. Anyway, the line went quicker than I thought. By 11:45 there was no one else in front of me. Still, I couldn't check for seats until 12 noon sharp. Could it possible that all of those people who were ahead of me in line were only allowed to shop for seats at the same time as I was at 12 noon? Thinking that was the case, I didn't shop the other games or hesitate at all on the seats like I did in Round 1 where seats disappeared quickly every time I refreshed the page. I just jumped on a couple of available seats and was lucky to get them before those seats were gone. on edit: Just before I grabbed those 2 seats, I checked the available seats that were just one section away and they were anywhere from 350 to 450 (also a 300 section). After what Taro T said, I didn't even bother clicking on any of the seats in the 100 sections to see how much they were. Edited May 2 by quill Quote

A day I can watch or go without finding a way to get off work or a day that gives the team a possible advantage but is a personal pain in the keister. Quote
