Rasmus_ Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 One thing I'd like to say, is how wrong I was about the Lindy hire. Initially, I thought it was Terry covering the cracks with a band aid. In the sense, that it's the right type of coach, but I felt maybe he wasn't going to connect w/ a team that really needed someone to get them structured. However, this year I've seen more out of Lindy than I can remember. Both in his thoughtfulness to the game, his ability to lean on his players and to really let them grow as a unit. While also getting them to gear in on a structured forecheck and to crash the net. He's been amazing. Kudos to what should be his second Adams trophy. 1 Quote

Why they did that likely ties into him having a ton of wins and this was missing. He's 2nd all time in wins with a single franchise and he's been to 4 cup's in his tenure there. I'm already expecting Toews to win the Masterton because they have some weird hatred for giving Buffalo any praise that isn't covered in caveats. Quote
