CallawaySabres Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 The blazer is undefeated when worn this year for playoff games, heading to the game tonight with same mojo. I would have played UPL but totally fine with Lyon as well. 1 Quote

Norris? Östlund? Krebs? McLeod? I think a case can be made for each of them to play 4C. I mentioned somewhere else that I'm okay with Norris playing a game or two on the fourth line, then figure out which of the top three centers to swap him out with. I think it would be mighty interesting to see him back on the line with Tage (the original intent, yeah?) and let Tage wing it. And there it is. Looks like Norris gets another day off. In a vacuum it makes the most sense to put Norris in to replace Krebs and move Krebs down to the 4th line to push Greenway out of the lineup, however, Krebs has worked so well where he is it'd be hard to make a case to move him. Would Norris work on the 4th line? IDK, but I feel he'd be more effective than Greenway. What is awesome is that right now Norris is our first forward depth piece that can come in due to an injury in the top-9. 2 2 Quote

Just wishful thinking on my part Still, the fact they are CHOOSING to hold him out if he CAN play does say something. Not all players would receive that treatment. Dahlin isn’t sitting if he can go. I don’t think, say, McLeod would be, either Edited April 28 by Nacho Libre Quote

Gatorman0519 Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 I think the first 10 minutes will be crucial. Boston might be “mad” but that can’t make up for the speed deficit they have unless we stop skating. A home close out would be a nice reward to the fans and a big step forward. 1 1 Quote

He considers him a leader on the team and (with the exception of Rob Ray, who was a VERY special case) he has never sat the leaders if they're able to go. And would say they were trying to get Zucker more healed up while the 10 game streak was going but he did get inserted into the lineup before they'd lost a game; so would consider that a case of him being held out for health reasons. Kozak would be the guy coming out of the lineup if Norris were to be inserted into the lineup. 3 Quote

Skate out of the gate like they did in each of the others. Get that 1st goal and all is gravy. If not, don't worry about it. They've won 3 times when not scoring 1st and got 2 more to OT. They've got that too. Just don't have a parade of penalties and they've got this. 3 1 1 Quote
