Porous Five Hole Posted April 18 Report Posted April 18 No Colten Ellis, which is fine because Lyon is back. But Colten Chaos does seem to get banged up a lot for a guy who doesn’t play much. Quote

Hope Noah feels good enough to make that decision redundant. Östlund would give that line more offensive capabilities. If Lindy goes with Dunne it is because he expects the Bruins to play heavy and he wants a similar response to wear down their defense. Kozak can play some PK but he hasn’t shown much since his return. 1 Quote

And fingers crossed that Carrick is back for Round 2 to end that debate 4 Quote

So if we were a better team in 2006 and not the actual team we were we’d have won? Ok We win that year purely with average health. We were the best team in the league. I‘m not being a pessimist to say I’m not sure this team is the best team in the league with health. Let’s let it play out and enjoy the ride Edited April 18 by Nacho Libre Also, like, the cadence of only saying “deep squad” is clearly “understatement for effect”. This is essentially like when people claim feel the need to state an obviously staged joke video is “fake” lol Quote

Hope Noah feels good enough to make that decision redundant. If he's healthy, you think he starts at C on the 4th line? I'd love to see that. I guess they want physicality to match Boston. If they go with Dunne game 1 then maybe Östlund game 2? Quote
dudacek Posted April 18 Report Posted April 18 (edited) You can argue Dunne because an extra big body can help negate the Bruins supposed physical advantage. You can argue Kozak because leaning into our speed can help negate the Bruins supposed physical advantage. I’ll argue Östlund because he’s a significantly better hockey player, and I’m not talking about just his superior skill. Edited April 18 by dudacek 2 Quote
