Watching Flyers/‘Guins, I realized that I hate the Penguins way more. I’m rooting for the Flyers. I don’t care what anyone thinks.

One thing I like about the Sabres in the playoffs is that I am way less invested in the NFL draft.

I keep track but it's so nice to escape the NFL cyclone.

Edit: I am 4 hours from Buffalo. Not hard to make 6 home games and the playoffs. Sabres make no sense

God I'm so glad hockey is back

The prospect rankings and mocks are just mental *****.  It will be interesting to see what the Bills do/who they choose over the course of 3 days and then it's quiet time mostly.

Clifton on Pittsburgh?  Connor f'n Clifton?

He's been playing pretty dirty, too.

I watch all of the hitting and am reminded about the elevated intensity of playoff hockey. It is no longer an 80% league at this time of year.

I am curious to see if Owen Power has a breaking point where he decides to hit back. It is not in his DNA but I wonder if at some point, after getting drilled for the 14th time by a Bruin, he says “F*** this” and starts dishing out some hits.

Lord knows he has the size to be a demon

What Flyers did to Pens is what Bruins will try to do to Sabres.

Fortunately for the Sabres, I don't think Hagens is as good as Martone.

I think 6'3" 209lb Martone is just physically more mature than 5'11" 194lb Hagens. I'm curious to see Benson on Hagens this series as I think they have similar styles.

Quick add: I think Martone's style is very playoff friendly as well. He's a good player.

Went back to look at my 2025 rankings and had Martone 5th, which is potentially too low. My boy Carbonneau had a great season and I still like him more than Mrtka. I had Hagens at 3rd, we'll see if that was correct in a few years. Schaefer and Misa at 1/2 looks solid.

Agree with all of this @Mango. As does the rest of the board apparently. 40 topics shown on page one and the Buffalo Bills thread isn’t one of them.
