One other quirk to this playoffs which will definitely end tonight in the Habolts series is the top teams all moved on with a road win and all of the lower seeded team won their series on home ice.  With this one going to 7, either the Bolts will be the 1st higher seed to clinch at home or the Habs will be the 1st 3 to clinch on the road.

In games 1-6, the Habs have gone into the third period with a lead or tied in every game. If their 3rd period defense could hold on they’d have won in 5. Let’s see how the second goes and if they finally learned their lessons.

Tampa is out working everyone except the MTL goalie.   If this continues we will be playing Tampa.

I think I'd rather play MTL.  TB will be looking to injure.

Tampa looks the better team today by far 

shots 20-4 is nuts. We’ll see if the bench minor costs them

Habs out shot 21-4 with about 2 mins left in the second. Not a single SOG in the second. Still 1-1, though.

Montreal sometimes reminds me of the Sabres in that they can turn down open shots. Tampa, OTOH, throws everything at the net.

MTL was actually trying to win a game 1-0.  Good let’s see them have to play in the 3rd period.  Tampa definitely looks like the better club tonight and more dangerous by far.

That's what I asked for the other day as well. I think when it was 3-2 in games. Hoped it would go 7 and into triple OT. 😉

It’s crazy how they’ve just erased Suzuki and Caufield.  I know he got that goal but it was a fluke.

I said going I'd decide during this game and yea I’ll take my chances with Montreal but whatever.   Both are going to be a problem.  
 

Maybe the one that hasn’t won multiple cups is the better matchup.  
 

I was just looking at the only 3 box scores of relevance (I’m not even bothering with the first game that was in early October) but we won 2 of the 3 and the loss Montreal scored 2 plus an empty netter in the 3rd period to come back and win.
