Bruins will no doubt try to send a message of physical superiority tomorrow night, just like what the Sens tried to do with Carolina. If I'm Lindy Ruff, and he sees the Bruins have any of their goons out there for the opening whistle, there is no way I'd put Dahlin out there for the opening faceoff. I'd put the 4th line out there with Stanley and anyone but Metsa back there with him.

Why does everyone seem to assume the Sabres won't be ready for/ can't play playoff style hockey?

Sabres are going to surprise.  Only it shouldn't be a surprise.  Not for those of us that have been watching all along.
