Too soon?

Naw. It's been 14 years or something. A few days early is just fine.

Interesting not a single team in the Pacific would be in the playoffs in the East given current points.

As of when the early games last night ended, they wouldn't even be in the top 6 in the Atlantic.  Meaning they'd have to climb over a team just to be the 1st team on the outside for the playoffs.

Pretty wild stuff.

Can we make this a "2026 NHL Playoffs Thread"

Ik, asking for title change is lame.

That said, I am excited for that Minnesota/Dallas first round. They got some hatred there.

Definitely would want that Atlantic title. After watching highlights of the Habs/Lightning game last night, those two teams are ready, especially after the way Vasilevskiy played in the TB loss, and it would be nice to have those 2 teams pound each other silly for the rights to play us in the second round.

100%.  Need to go after the division.  It’s very doable.   Right in front of them.

Some say it is better to start on the road for a new team to the playoffs to reduce the pressure.  But not in this case for the Sabres.   Got to have the Bolts and Habs fight it out first.

There might be some truth to that. If only it took 2 seasons for our draftees to click like are veterans did in 2 weeks, we might be entering our 2nd or 3rd playoff season in a row right now.

We're trading our 1st for Robert Thomas anyway.

$132.25 specifically.  😉

And, most expensive probably are no longer available, but they were $417.45.

Thank you. It has been 5,463 days since the last Sabres playoff game.
I have to be at the first playoff game regardless of cost. I’ll tap into the HELOC if I have to 😂

I really don't think there will be any seats left for game one. MAYBE a single seat, but there were only a handful when I looked.

I looked on Gametime.co. Someone is selling a single seat in the 300's for $258, fees included.

Sabres have a 75% of winning the Atlantic now...essentially if they win out they win since neither TB not Montreal can catch them. Montreal loses the tiebreaker by a million even if we tie in points.

IF they've held some seats back for the general public, and personally believe that they did, then there will be seats available for all 4 potential 1st round games.  If they didn't, then yes games 1 and 2 are fully sold on the initial market and the only remaining seats are listed on the 2ndary market.

Expect there will be some seats directly available from the Sabres come Monday.

Ticket boss was on Marty and Duffer today.

I believe he said single game tickets available to the general public 10 am Monday?

Ticketmaster currently has verified resale tickets for sale for Game 1. Prices in the 100 sections average about $500, give or take 50 bucks either way. Above those sections, prices for the few left in the 200 section are even higher. Prices in the 300 sections are anywhere from $320 to $385. If for some reason we end up playing the Habs, I have the feeling there will be nothing left within minutes of when that seeding is confirmed, due to all the Habs fans within a 100 mile radius of Buffalo. Hopefully we won't be playing them right away.

I was wondering where they’d be. I think mine at $72 for 5th row of 310 as a STH. Not a bad discount.

To me Sabres are a young inexperienced team but they are deep especially on the back end... they can be flexible in style good to great goaltending and speed to burn... biggest question for me is can they stay disciplined and can someone fix that powerplay

Buffalo prices aren’t bad. The cheaper tickets are about on par with the league. It’s the premium tickets were the gap is staggering. In Buffalo, first row prices for season ticket holders were about $250. In Utah, they are $3400 face value.
