Maybe he’s onto something. If they hadn’t called those matching minors in the 3rd, the evil penalty box door is never opened to let Benson out. A penalty call literally hurt a Lightning player.

As you know from our exchange yesterday, I didn't like the way the game was called, but for different reasons than Cooper.    I am looking for consistency, I do not know what Cooper is looking for.  

His team had 5 power plays, Buffalo had 4.   His team had late dirty hits on Dahlin and Benson that went uncalled.  His team had Corey Perry pull his dirty stick move on the Sabres bench.  His team even got a power play and a goal out of the Corey Perry scrum that ensued.  But overall, the refs succeeded in keeping the chaos down and I find it disingenuous that Cooper complains about it.  

"Sucked the fun out of it for the crowd" is a crock of Cooper $hit.  His team backed down.  They could have challenged our guys, they didn't.  

We have in the past had guys injured at the hands of the Lightning.   A mistake caused this injury.  Sorry, but it happens.  

Fire the gate keeper?  Is that what he wants?  He should just shut up.

Should Tage have been called for grabbing Perry's stick? How long have you watched hockey to want a call when that kind of thing happens? When has it ever been called?

Again, it's tiresome.

As is acting like we wouldn't want to trade Lindy for Coop.

Cooper is just pissed that Ruff is going to win the Jack Adams (again) despite the media hyping Cooper all season.

PS: Cooper also pissed that his team’s dirty play no longer works against the Sabres —— 3-0-1.

Eh.  You don't know.  Maybe it sticks once in a while so when the seconds tick down it's best to make sure you have time to work it if it sticks.

When did I say I wanted more calls?  You need to get off the sugar.  Tage grabbed Perry's stick because Perry put it were it didn't belong (on purpose of course).  Either you call them both, or you let it go.   Given the time left in the game I would have let it go.  Good job ref!   

Yesterday I was complaining about the stupid calls that were made but completely ignored in the Ottawa game.  Do you understand consistency?    How many times can I explain it?

Why does anyone care if they don’t call a penalty the other team? Our power play is terrible.

I’ve had no problem with any of the officiating in any of the past few games.

When I saw the replay of the Perry stick in the bench incident I thought, you cheap piece of *****. I hope you get the rest of your teeth knocked out.  Then I thought, dammit noone on our team would do that.  Why can’t we have one of those.

I want Perry to get a misconduct over it. I want our fictional guy that does that to get away with it every time.

Yes. I wanted a call on Perry in the first period.  His stick was purposely in the Sabres bench and he hit Tuch and Tage with it.  I think I said this before. Many times over.  That is a great way to start a Donnybrook. The refs talked to him out it.  Did nothing.   
 

I thought your latest question on Tage and Perry referred to the end of the game.  With about 20 seconds left Tage found Perry’s stick mysteriously in his mid section, so he grabbed it and held it   The ref saw it and correctly let that go and the clock ran down.
