Get your beer sabres Monday

Guess that they had 10k available for Monday night's game.  And apparently sold out.

The line wasn't too bad at the main location that they'd sell them - the Blue Zone behind section 119.

Pretty sure they're planning on selling them again next year, but whether they do or don't hopefully the prices will be a bit lower on E-Bay with an extra 10k of inventory available.

Through the magic of knowing a guy, I have a beer Sabre. They're pretty fun but don't spend 200 on ebay. Hope the Sabres keep them limited to special games just so they don't lose their uniqueness.

I was fortunate enough to get a couple the last game as well.  Definitely not worth any kind of ebay prices lol.  My boys loved drinking their slushies out of them so well worth it for me but the price tag of $27 each (including a beer) doesn't exactly scream value.  Ofcourse I'll still bring it to drink out of next season though

I went to Southern tier before the game, I told our waitress that if I got there in time I would bring her the extra one.... She seemed excited but the kind of "I'm just being nice, no way this random stranger is going to come back after the game" 

Welllll, that's exactly what I did, after the heartbreak, I didn't linger for the handshake line, couldn't take it, walked with the masses of sad people and popped into our previous section, found Jessica, and she was legit shocked. 

Of course she repaid me by filling my beer Sabre with a draft of my choice, for the walk back to the car obviously 😉 

Hopefully that good karma means next year we go to game 7, but this time we win.
