ska-T Chitown Posted September 5 Report Posted September 5 Learned a little something today ... most of the import fees / tariffs being charged on getting cards from Canada are not valid. Just appealed to FedEx for a bill I got. The card was manufactured in the US, so they said I was correct and there should not be an import fee. Boom. The hard part will be convincing our neighbors to the North (love them!) to send things in a manner that I get charged the fees. Most want to charge them up front so they don't get a bad seller rating when something arrives "postage due". Quote

Unless he is the second coming of Lemieux, these may be peak prices. I think it is mostly just "Hey! Look! You can be amongst the first to get one of these!" Where did you get yours? I also got what felt like every single Tuch card in the set. I always get Tuch and it’s driving me mad. There’s a Tuch /25 card and I only need 23 more of them. edit: someone has the same Helenius I got listed for $230 on eBay. I hope he gets that. Edited September 21 by shrader Quote

Now, that I do, I haven't seen a box for sale on the open market. Packs and those pull parties is all I'm seeing these days... Quote

Honestly, it doesn’t seem like much, so I’m assuming that’s one of those listings where the seller asks for an insane price. Not that it's here or there, but knew for a long time that "lund" in Swedish translates to "land" in English. Was pretty sure ost (with the umlaut) translates to east, but just to be sure ran it through google. Now understand why Noah wants the umlaut because with it, his name means "East land" (so likely at some point in time his ancestors were farmers in an eastern part of Sweden); but without it, his name means "Cheese land." Could see where he'd definitely prefer the umlaut. Though might start referring to him as Cheese, just because that's how he was advertised last year. 😉 Quote
