Heck, even banks offer better deals than the currency exchange places. I have a feeling this is going to be one of those 80% games that Stephen Stamkos likes so much.

Why? Because I just sprung for Gotham Sports, and thus it is the first game I’ll get to watch in the comfort of my own home.  And I can’t have nice things.

He wasn’t wrong though, as the established exchange rate when he checked was .74 vs the US dollar this morning. The exchange house at the Rainbow Bridge will never trade at the higher rate, so it’s no surprise they are offering a dime less per dollar.

It seems to me (and, yes, as I typed that pompous phrase, I did take a draw on my pipe) Lindy is in a position to manage ice time and perhaps even give some nights off in prep for the playoffs. But not if every night has to be scrote to wallpaper.

Visited USS New Jersey last year and man was that thing gigantic. We spent a an hour or so walking around it and hardly saw much of it.

Just blanket Celebrini. He is allowed to do something highlight-reel-worthy to make the game enjoyable for Sharks fans to make it a 5-1 Sabres lead late in the third period. Otherwise, skate hard and grind them down.

We'll find out a lot about the Sabres tonight.  Do they come out flat like they did against Nashville?  Do they ride the wave of the last game and play hard up tempo hockey against a very good playoff bubble team with two dynamic young player like Celebrini and Smith? 

I'd be worried more about a letdown if they were on the road, but Key Bank Center should be rocking.

If the Sabres come out like they did in the first half of the TBL game though, it will be over by the start of the third.  I don't expect a drop off in urgency just because they nosed ahead of the Lightning.  They've been fighting for their lives since December and there's still more work to do.

Not a classic trap game. Everyone gets what a "trap" game is incorrect. Its when a team is playing a "highly favored to win" game against a much lesser opponent  - while looking ahead to the next game which is usually a must-win against a contested rival.

Expect they are gunning for the division title.  And with that comes a real opportunity to have home ice through 3 rounds as Carolina likely won't have anyone nipping at their heels so they could let off the gas a little and still run the 1st 2 rounds.

Barring an epic collapse, 1st seed overall is out of the equation.  26 points (a 0.650 pace) is all Colorado needs to keep the Sabres from getting there and they have an incentive to keep winning to keep from having to play both Dallas and Minnesota in the playoffs.

So, personally want to see them gunning for the division.  Once that seems locked up (should that come to pass) will decide whether am hoping they expend the energy to have game 7 at home rather than in the land of the left turn.

But just winning the winnable ones could very well get them top seed in the East regardless of whether they're gunning for anyone or not.
