PerreaultForever Posted March 10 Report Posted March 10 It will be interesting to see if they double down on the gooning or if they play goon free. In either case it will be intentional and part of a larger plan. 1 Quote

Florida is well equipped to react to thuggery with thuggery, and Tampa chooses to play them that way anyway. I am guessing every game against Tampa is going to look like this as long ad both teams are fighting for the same space in the standings. My recollection is that Florida-Tampa playoffs were nasty as hell too. Does my memory match reality? 3 Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted March 10 Report Posted March 10 Is it possible to fast forward to that game? Quote
Jävə Keith Posted March 10 Report Posted March 10 I just bought 2 tickets against the glass immediately next to the Lightning Penalty box for this game! I will be taking my youngest son (10 years old) to get him addicted to Sabres hockey. I have never sat next to the penalty box, does anyone have experiences to share that have been there? 1 1 Quote

You need to make some signs to caption the players in the box. "FLUNKED KINDERGARTEN" 'WEARING HIS AUNTIE'S PANTIES" "LIKES RANCH ON HIS WINGS" 2 Quote

Don’t bang on the glass to get the player’s attention. It’s a low class move. Quote

dudacek Posted March 10 Report Posted March 10 I think a lot of attention was given to the Sabres "standing up" to the Lightning and outskating the Lightning. People are overlooking the size matchup: the Lightning's top players (Point, Kucherov, Guentzel, Cirelli) are not big and, overall, the Lightning's biggest players are smaller than the Sabres biggest players. Hedman 6'7" 244 * Stanley 6'7" 231 Paul 6'4" 234 * Greenway 6'6" 231 Cernak 6'4" 230 * Power 6'6" 225 Geekie 6'4" 212 * Thompson 6'6" 220 Lilleberg 6'3" 215 * Kesselring 6'5" 215 Perry 6'3" 210 * Samuelsson 6'4" 229 Sabourin 6'3" 205 * Tuch 6'4" 219 Crozier 6'3" 204 * Dunne 6'4" 208 D'Astous 6'2" 211 * Timmins 6"3" 213 McDonough 6'1" 216 * Malenstyn 6'3" 209 Raddysh 6'1" 202 * Dahlin 6'3" 204 Girgensons 6'3" 197 * McLeod 6'3" 204 Hagel 6'2" 186 * Schenn 6'2" 225 Quote

It would be interesting if we didn't need the points/win and then Ruff could play the 3 new Winnipeg guys, dress Dunne and call up Geertson, let Dahlin have a maintenance rest day, sit Quinn and Östlund and then the Sabres flip the script and go after Hagel and Kucherov all night just because. That would mess with them. Quote
NAF Posted March 10 Report Posted March 10 I'll be upset if nobody on the Sabres addresses the Dahlin - Hagel incident. 1 1 1 Quote

Broken Ankles Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 Logan needs to get approval from the League to change the nameplate from Stanley to “Stash” for this game. Instant hero in east Polonia. 3 Quote
