oddoublee Posted March 9 Report Posted March 9 This game reminded me of clubber langs second fight against rocky. 1 Quote
Flashsabre Posted March 9 Report Posted March 9 It reminded me of a combination of 2 Ottawa games. The Chris Neil Brawl game and game 1 in the Playoffs when Drury scored in OT to win it. 2 Quote
Popular Post tom webster Posted March 9 Popular Post Report Posted March 9 Best regular season game I’ve ever been to. It was incredible. There were a couple of mid 70’s Philly games and a 7-6 comeback game against Boston but none of them were a statement game like tonight’s. Being there with my youngest daughter just added to the night. Go Sabres! 12 9 1 Quote

Or perhaps the lucky fan from the Tonawanda Elks Lodge. 1 Quote

Pimlach Posted March 9 Report Posted March 9 (edited) The Tampa comeback game. Or maybe just the Tampa Game. Edited March 9 by Pimlach Quote
Doohickie Posted March 9 Report Posted March 9 Reminds me of the 1997 Red Wings - Avs game that was a brawl-fest. 18 fighting majors in that one. 1 Quote

PerreaultForever Posted March 9 Report Posted March 9 Oh there were lots of brawls in the past. The youngsters just don't know what that was like. The difference was back then lots of the Sabres actually knew how to fight. As much as I enjoyed the whole thing and enjoyed people stepping up, only Malentstyn and Carrick are any good at actually fighting. The new guys from Winnipeg change that of course. But this was a lot of fun (and I bet some of the people who claimed the Panthers Tampa game earlier this year was a disgrace and not hockey also enjoyed it). 4 Quote
