Yeah, RJ calling Zucker's tying goal as the crowd erupted would have been an instant classic broadcast highlight.

Or Ted Darling

A lot of people here may have never heard a full game called by Ted. I will say, Rick was great, but I'd really like to hear a game called by Ted again.

And so would that lucky fan from the Sloan Kiwanis Club. Or perhaps the lucky fan from the Tonawanda Elks Lodge.

On 8th goal: “He scooorrrreeeesssss!”   and then he goes quiet for a few seconds to get the crowd noise.

Oh there were lots of brawls in the past. The youngsters just don't know what that was like. The difference was back then lots of the Sabres actually knew how to fight. As much as I enjoyed the whole thing and enjoyed people stepping up, only Malentstyn and Carrick are any good at actually fighting. The new guys from Winnipeg change that of course.

But this was a lot of fun (and I bet some of the people who claimed the Panthers Tampa game earlier this year was a disgrace and not hockey also enjoyed it).
