Wait... Which one is the Sequel Trilogy?

That's either the Koran or the Book of Mormon, depending on which way you branch off.

Given the current status of the goaltenders, Levi is not needed anytime soon.  Lyon is under contract for next season, UPL for several more, and Ellis has proven to be a capable member of the rotation.  That said, I don't see the need to move Levi unless there's a decent return.  I would only swap him for a player that could help the roster now and not for another prospect.  It should be said that Levi never got the opportunity to play behind this defense, so who knows what he might look like in that scenario?  Despite him having some bad moments here and there this year, he's been largely stellar in Rochester, was the best goalie in the NCAA in college, and also played very well in international competition.  He still has time to develop into a quality NHL goalie and it's OK to have organizational depth at an important position.

He cost us hockey Josh Allen...

Well damn...I had no idea Reinhart was the most productive player in the history of the NHL on a per-game basis in both the regular and postseason!

Watch.  He’ll give him away for very little.  He doesn’t care about assets.

I hope that Jarmo doesn't have to much Tim Murray in him.  The team has a good thing going.  The fact that they didn't overpay for Thomas is a good thing.  I thought Parayko was an overpay and they slightly overpaid on the Winnipeg deal, but Rosen can't be a 2-way guy next season, so if there no spot for him (and it doesn't like there is one, even though he's much improved this season), I guess it makes sense to deal him.  Both guys they got are rentals with expiring contracts, so playoff production is needed for the deal to pan out.  Maybe Stanley will like it in Buffalo and re-sign with the team, which would also make the trade look better down the road.

He's not... he just bears a striking resemblance to the Bills babyface QB.

Most of us just really haven't seen enough out of him to think he can be good in the NHL long term.

He's 24, so hes not THAT young anymore.

He played his first NHL games in the 2022-23 season, so technically this is already his 4th pro season.

He has 39 NHL games played. No shutouts. GAA over 3. Save percentage under .900

In his time with the Sabres, they also have had: Comrie, Anderson, UPL, Reimer, Ellis, and Lyon. Only Comrie and Levi have a negative goals saved above average for the team.

He is the clear starter in Roch this year. But in the AHL, he's 19th in GAA and 12th in save percentage, a pretty big drop-off from his previous years.

Hes not awful, just...nothing for me to get excited over.

If he stays, he stays. If he is traded, even for not much of a return...whatever.

He may not be “that young anymore” but he still hasn’t come close to playing as many AHL games as Ryan Miller did. The drop off this year can be attributed to many things, not the least of which is that this year’s Amerks team is no where near as good as in previous seasons.

From Hawaii to Hawthorne, he runs marathons, like...

Buju Banton, I'm a true champion, like...

Farrakhan reads his daily Qur'an...

It's a phenomenon, lyrics fast like Ramadan...

Just to be contrarian, why?

Because they gave up Reinhart to get him.

they won't get much for him

Ellis has higher trade value

And rightly so.  He's held his own at the NHL level.  Levi... not so much.

Hockey Josh Allen is like…Kucherov.

maybe even MacKinnon

I think he was talking more about looks, thus the picture.  The scruffy beard is very Joshish.

To be fair, Miller got an extra year because of the lockout and that was also when the league still believed in workhorse goalies. Levi also lost a bunch of early games in the AHL because of the way he was rushed to Buffalo right away.

Maybe after watching him play we won't want him to re-sign.  He has kind of an Andrew Peters look about him.  Maybe I'm wrong but from what I've read he can be a liability in his own end.

Doesn’t the trade thread show a bunch of surprisingly good fancy stats for Stanley?

Lindy likes to have a pugilist on the roster.  He could it at 6/7D.
