Maybe partially because it’s his first infraction against a sabres team that’s legitimately a part of the league in over a decade Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Good, F Pitt. Hope they miss because of shenanigans like this 2 1 1 1 Quote
RETURNTOGLORY Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Bravo! Well deserved, POS! https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/48127281/evgeni-malkin-suspended-5-games-slashing-rasmus-dahlin 1 Quote
Big Guava Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Inline with what I expected. Very dumb thing he did...lucky Dahlin didn't get injured or it would have likely been longer. Quote

oddoublee Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 (edited) He took two swings above the shoulder after a cross check. He's lucky he only received 5 games. I love a little violence in hockey...but that was gross what he did. Edited March 7 by oddoublee Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Wow. I have no idea what the DoPS will do for anything. Crosby started practicing, so I'm guessing he'll be back before just in time. The question is: can CBJ catch up to them in the short-term? Quote
inkman Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 It’s kinda weird how little I care about this stuff now that the Sabres are good. 2 Quote
GoPuckYourself Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 I'm a Malkin fan but that was a terrible move by him right as their in playoff contention also. Not very smart but I'm glad to see Dahlin was ok and able to finish the game. 1 Quote

It's kinda weird how, now that the Sabres are good, calls are going their way. We had the Buffalo goal allowed with no goaltender interference against Pittsburgh, we had the distinct kicking motion call off the TBL goal a few games back. When the Sabres sucked, those calls would never go our way. 1 1 1 1 Quote
JohnC Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Once he got thrown out his team noticeably faded. That was a reckless play could have resulted in a serious injury. It ended up hurting his team in this game and damaging his team’s chances for the playoffs. His teammates and coaching staff should be very upset 😢 with him for his selfishness. Quote
dudacek Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 So his history definitely did play a role in the decision. Quote

Fansince70 Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 He better have his head on a swivel next game against the Sabres. Carrick, Stanley and Malenstyn would like a word. 1 Quote
