Well, per Puckpedia neither has a NMC/NTC, so there is that.

@Nacho Libre any thoughts on what the Sabres should give up for them &/or if they're even worth grabbing as insurance at this point in their careers?

Logan Stanley is a moron and not very good.

He is, however, absolutely enormous.

Luke Schenn is exactly the type of rugged veteran 6/7 I thought they’d be adding.

One would be fine. Both would be overkill I think. Maybe crazy, but I would prefer Risto. Would prefer Hanley from Calgary also.

Well, persuming they end up needing to go 10 deep, if Timmins ever heals (has he never drank a glass of milk in his life?) they've got Dahlin, Samuelsson, Power, Byram, Schenn, Kesselring, Metsa, Timmins, Stanley, and Bryson before having to get any TRUE AHLers if they really do bring both those guys in.

Seems on paper way better than what they were reduced to in '06 when they dropped to #10.

Solid depth and experience and toughness.

This would not be a sexy or exciting deal but would be nice.

Jarmo and crew obviously feel they need size, physicality and experience in their depth positions on the backend. Stanley has had a breakout season for him and Schenn is a serviceable guy to come into the lineup if injuries hit. 
 

I wouldn’t have a problem with the deal.

I haven't watched either of them. 

The stats say d zone specialists getting 3rd pairing minutes. This seems purely a depth move. 15 minute a night...assuming they are not scratched...d men
