Watched the Women's Hockey OT winner and all I could see in my mind was Brad May pulling that same move (opposite side of the ice to be fair!) on Ray Borque to win it for the Sabres in OT in 1993 and send the Bruins packing...which led me to this amazing clip of Jeneret's best all-time calls...gave me 16 minutes of chills and hoping if the Sabres find a way to snap their drought they can use AI to bring him back for the playoff games... 😂

Kenny Albert is great.  
 

What I’ve noticed on the broadcasts is just this refusal by the analysts to just enjoy the moment - not everything needs a breakdown.  
 

Im thinking of the goals that tied games late.  
 

Like, something incredible just happened.  No analysis needed.  Just talk about how incredible this is.  How exciting it all is.  
 

RJ and Lorentz were just the best.   Lorentz would let RJ do his thing.  Shot of celebrating fans for a minute.  Lorentz, just so subtly and astutely making it simple for fans to understand what just happened while still letting the moment be center stage.  Not his analysis.

Kenny Albert has a strange voice but he is great. Bobrovsky made a ridiculous save last year in the cup finals and all he said was OH WHAT A SAVE BY BOBROVSKY. Then the color commentator said "unbelievable" That was it. They continued to call the game

Kevin Harlan is one of my all time favorites for the NFL...amazing on radio...

He literally paints a picture so vivid with his words that you can see what's happening in your mind without even watching.

I have a ton of MP3 audio files from Rick Jeanneret calling the games in the 2005 thru 2007 years. These are the ones WGR used to have after every game. I recorded a lot of them. My question is; how do I share them with all you Sabrespace folks? Its not like I can upload 50 MP3 files on here. Anybody know a good way? I don't have a FTP server or anything. Thanks in advance.

Might be recency bias, but Santa Monica mountains, descending back down the road I pedaled up just as the sun was going down.

You could turn them into youtube videos with a goat-head image or something, I suppose. Might get sticky with copyright, but I'm not sure anyone would bother you about it.

R J did all sorts of green and stupid things in his first race.  Still, he only lost by 4 lengths and finished an excellent 4th in a visually impressive performance.  Got a 60 Beyer speed figure for those who handicap, which is excellent for a young horse in his first race.  If he stays sound and progresses, I think he will do his namesake proud.

I mean as long as he didn't take a dump while in full stride, I think everything else is excusable 😂
