Just got the email. My seats way up in Sec 322 went up $5/game. ($25 to $30) I'm sure it will be way more in the pricier sections. Don't forget the NHL season is two games longer starting next year so 42 regular season home games instead of 41. The carrot for early renewals is 2 tickets to the NHL draft.

Actually looks like ours only went up about the same.

How much are season tickets these days?

Promo said he’s paying $30 per game for a seat up top. Hopefully someone can chime in for other areas. I’m curious too.

Nosebleeds but not the cheapest seats.  $1320 a seat. That's 42 regular season and 3 preseason games.

Carrot? More like turnip.

While I agree that the NHL Draft is hardly an incentive, I want to know what you have against the humble turnip.  All it does is sit there in the ground, PA, until people pull it out and put it into bad food. (I never have had a turnip in good food and I doubt I will.)  But it's not the turnip's fault.  Don't be mean.

I want to respond with some awesome dish I’ve made with turnips, but it’s never happened.

It is impossible.  But again, not the fault of the turnip.

I don't mind me some southern cooked turnip greens in the right mix of fried foods.

But not the turnip itself.

Ours didn't go up as much as I'd expected based on how much yours went up.  Ours is somewhere in the middle of those.

I’m curious, anything in the fine print about reselling tickets?

There was some fine print which I confess I didn't read. But my understanding is as long as you aren't buying tickets strictly to resell them it's okay. What is the line between one and the other? I couldn't tell you.

You can resell if you're selling individual games.  You can't resell en masse.

Also, for @PASabreFan, apparently it is still illegal to sell tix w/in 1,500' of the venue.  So, for those that will make the effort to actually get paper tix, they'll be in deep doo doo if they try to sell those paper tix w/in 500 yards of the rink and get caught so doing.

Holy guacamole...no wonder why people sell their tickets to Leafs and Canadiens fans...

Exactly. When I started with these seats in 2005, they cost $39 per ticket, now over $110 plus you have to buy preseason which we give away so the cost ends up close to $120.

At least with the extra RS home game, we probably are only having to get rid of tix for 2 PS games which is an improvement over getting stuck with 3 of them.

Ok, I know I’ve been a little out of the loop lately but they expanded the regular season? I know they were limiting preseason.

You guys should try eating weeds like Gardoonie.   (often spelled cardoons, cardi, carduni, or gardoona in Sicilian dialect)

Described as a thistle-like plant related to artichokes, known for their edible, celery-like stalks. They are tricky to prepare properly.   They are considered a Mediterranean delicacy and a staple of Italian, particularly Sicilian, cuisine.

My cousin harvests them in the wild.   Some are right near his favorite public golf course in Clarence.  He used to get them near the Colvin exit of I-290.   You can’t make this up.  It’s Buffalo.
