Yep. And its not like the old days when the PS consisted of a bunch of kids from which the team could develop bottom of the roster players 3 years from now. With the new roster 'portability' rules, especially for veteran players, a few of these guys will be active and playing important minutes on game days as needed. Extensions of the 53-man roster, if you will.

Bills are borrowing from the Sabres playbook: The Canadian anthem will be sung at the stadium opener. (And they're getting Barenaked Ladies to perform it.)

It's not clear to me whether this will be a permanent feature of the new stadium. I presume and hope so.

I miss the classic lineup too. Who wouldn't?

But I've moved on. I've read several accounts of how and why the band parted ways with Page. I would have done the same, had I been a member of band.

When I've seen them without Page, they have always been total pros who put on a great show.

Being an old school BNL fan I was skeptical to see them last year without Page and was very pleasantly surprised at how excellent the show was, especially with Kevin Hearn's contributions covering some of Page's vocals and talent.  He's very talented.

I didn't know the NFL was on last night until the game was over.  I knew about tonight's game (Thursday), but this Wednesday game slipped by me.

I feel like Maye's shown enough to demonstrate that he will even out, settle down and be a very good QB.

It's early in the season, Seattle's defense is excellent, and defenses are often ahead of offenses to start an NFL season.

That said, I can't help but entertain a little hope that Maye has been (is being) exposed and is destined for a career as a physically gifted guy who can do some incredible things but can't process the game quickly or consistently enough to be a top tier QB.
