K-9 Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 Not to defend the Ravens or anyone else, but voiding a trade after the player gets a physical is quite common. Indeed, when news of players coming off injury get traded, there’s usually a “pending a physical” caveat in the report, especially if the player is still in rehab following a surgical procedure to fix that injury. I was actually surprised that when news of the Crosby trade first broke, the reports didn’t mention that. That said, the timing of it is fishy af as the Ravens had plenty of time to conduct the medical evaluations before agreeing to the price of the trade with the Raiders. Quote

JustOneParade Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 I just saw that the NFL is contemplating a Thanksgiving Eve game, possibly this coming season. I wonder how long it will be before we see, either by plan or circumstance, a week where there is a game every day of that week. Will there be no end to the saturation? (Read: $$$$) 1 Quote

Night Train Posted March 12 Author Report Posted March 12 29 Mil guarantee. That's like a 1 year salary for Hendrickson or Crosby. Watching his 2025 highlight tape on YouTube. Moves very well, coming off injury. Shows him running by Dawkins a few times. Quote

JujuFish Posted March 12 Report Posted March 12 I think in a balanced offense like Buffalo's, you can make an argument for center. For pass heavy teams, it's gotta be the blindside tackle (LT with a right-handed QB). Quote

I think I get where you're coming from -- you think the centre is the most important position on the O-Line from a football standpoint. Money talks, though, innit? Left tackles are the league's highest paid offensive linemen. So, in that way, it is at least "remotely true" that left tackles are the most important players on the O-Line because they are the most monetarily valued players on the O-Line. (I realize there may be some exceptions to that rule.) Quote
