PASabreFan Posted February 8 Report Posted February 8 (edited) That pic is straight out of the Middle Ages. What's happening in the background? Edited February 8 by PASabreFan 1 Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted February 8 Report Posted February 8 I remember watching Korab beat the Russians into submission in the Sabres dominating win over the Soviet Wings in 1976. https://thirdstringgoalie.blogspot.com/2016/01/the-first-nhl-club-to-defeat-soviet.html That defense was huge. Korab, Schoenfeld, Hajt and Guevremont. All were 6-2+ and 200+ and Punch played those 4 a ton of minutes. 1 1 1 Quote

He would get a penalty every time he came on the ice. Clear the front of net guys no longer can play. Much more important to be able to skate, move the puck and jump into offense. 1 1 1 Quote

Bill Hajt had the best breakout pass of any of the Sabres defensemen in the 70's. Quote

I am not a fan of Bryson but he is 28 and at 5'9" and 177 lbs he plays in the NHL. You may not like him but he is probably much stronger and physically/mentally tougher than you think. I give him credit for almost 300 NHL games as an undersized defenseman. He is s 7/8 player on an NHL roster. While I don't see him and Metsa holding up in the upcoming schedule crunch, especially when both are in the lineup at the same time. I am sure you are not being literal, but I do think it is a bit harsh to say he isn't a man. Quote

Quite the goal scorer he was!! 😄 1 Quote
