sabresouth Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 LET'S GO SABRES!!!! I believe with a win tonight we will take over second place in the Atlantic. Dig down deep and find a way to win!!!! 1 Quote
LGR4GM Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 Empty the tank for this one. Whatever you got, you give. You win this game and you sit 2nd in the division heading into a 3 week break. Sabres need to find ways to win, no matter what. 6 6 1 1 Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 (edited) Here is the setup playoff wise. 1. The CBJ won again last night. They now have 65 pts in 56 games. 2. Bos lost in OT and now have 69 pts in 57 games and are in the 2nd WC. 3. Det lost to Utah and now have 72 pts in 58 games. Det has only 23 RW. 4. Mon won last night and they now have 72 pts in 57. The Habs have only 21 RW. 5. Pitt enters tonight’s game 2nd in the Metro with 68 pts in 55 games. Sabres scenarios. A. Win and we have 72 pts in 57 games and because of our great RW we are in 2nd in the Atlantic B. OTL or SOL leaves us with 71 pts and in the 1st WC C. Lose in regulation and we also remain in the 1st WC, but with Columbus only 5 pts back and with a game in hand. Edited February 5 by GASabresIUFAN 1 3 Quote
CallawaySabres Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 My friend who invited me to the Montreal game where I got hit by the puck asked me tonight, same seat. Maybe I catch one in the face by Crosby if I’m lucky. 3 3 Quote
... Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 I will be at this one with the Chets and Muffies. It ought to be a fun game. 1 Quote

CBJ are the hottest team in the league over their last 10 games. 9-1-0 and they are the biggest current threat to WC or Metro teams. 1 Quote
#freejame Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 I’ll be there tonight in my Team USA jersey. I remember going to Pens games as a kid and bus loads of fans coming in from church groups and hockey teams for these games. It made me really hate the Pens for a long time. I’m pretty indifferent about them now, but I’m sure there will be more than a few contrarian Canadians out there rooting for Crosby. The building should be rocking. Hopefully we get a good show. Go Sabres. 6 Quote
Stads Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 Let's club these Penguins! Oh wait, it's not Penguins you club. I think it's baby seals they club. Or maybe we shouldn't club anything. Regardless, let's win and stuff 1 5 Quote
That Aud Smell Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 So excited. And nervous. Let's Go, Buffalo! 2 Quote

They are 10-1 since their coaching change and winners of 7 straight. They are currently only 2 pts back of 3rd in the Metro with a game in hand on the NYI. When we beat Pitt for them they’ll only trail Pitt by 3 for 2nd in the Metro. Huge game tonight for both teams. Should see playoff type hockey. Go Sabres! Edited February 5 by GASabresIUFAN Quote
French Collection Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 I hope Benny Badger is good to go, provided he can’t make the injury worse. He can feed on waddling Penguins as there is no water for them to escape in. Second place is a great motivator, do it. Let’s go Buffalo! 1 Quote

We've seen the Pens can't win after regulation with 12 OT/SO losses. 1 Quote

Mustache of God Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 (edited) Last game before the Olympic break with a chance to be sitting 2nd in the division and I've got $69 riding on the game with a wager made with a buddy from Pittsburgh? There's no mincing words here, tonight is an absolute MUST WIN. GO SABRES. Edited February 5 by Mustache of God 1 Quote
