Scottysabres Posted February 3 Report Posted February 3 (edited) Is Helenius in tonight? if they aren’t going to play him why not send him back to Rochester? Is he injured? Edited February 3 by Scottysabres Quote

With both Detroit and the Habs having the night off our Sabres could find themselves 1 pt back of 2nd place in the division if they win. The 20-21 covid season had a total of 56 games played. Sabres ended that season with 37 points. Boys doing a lot better this year! 1 Quote
Brawndo Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 Colten Chaos is a nickname bestowed on Ellis by the WGR morning show. Thoughts? Quote

Believer Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 Interesting lines Ruff working with what he has healthy. Tough challenge on the road. Chance for a few guys to show what they can do when called upon. As @LGR4GM posted, “Dig deep, boys!” Quote

msw2112 Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 (edited) What's going on with Kesselring? Injured again? I have to assume so, with Bryson back in. I'm also not sure Rosen will be effective on the 4th line. That doesn't seem to me to be his game. While I'm fine with Krebs being on the 1st line in and of itself (he's earned it with his play of late and was decent on that line a few games back), but I wonder if Rosen would slot better there with Krebs being more effective on the 4th line. All that said, the coaching staff has earned my trust with the team's performance this season, so I will assume they know what they're doing and assume they know more than I do. Gatorman0519 Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 Need a healthy Kesslering and Timmons to get healthy and take over that bottom pairing. 4 Quote

dudacek Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 Kesselring hadn’t been healthy when playing. Break can’t come soon enough for that guy. Krebs with Tage certainly not the people’s choice, but damn they seem to put up the Ws. 2 Quote

That sign has been there for decades. I recall that the city won that designation a long time ago, but have always wondered how long the designation lasts for and if the city STILL has the designation, or if they just never took the sign down. I haven't lived in Buffalo for a very long time, but I often visit during the fall to see Bills and Sabres games and still notice that sign along the highway every time. EDIT: I just looked it up (Google is my friend). Apparently, "Greater Buffalo" won the award in 1996 and "Buffalo-Niagara Region" won it in 2002. But why take the sign down? 30 years later (or 24 years if you prefer), I still like it. From the National Civic League website: "The All-America City Award recognizes communities that leverage civic engagement, collaboration, inclusiveness and innovation to successfully address local issues." Believer Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 Bolts 31st in Penalty Minutes Need our PP to work tonight. We should get our chances unless the Refs let them play. Quote

Second Line Center Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 The line moved more toward Tampa when Benson was ruled out. He’s that important now. Quote

Give him the full break plus a few days to try to rest/heal whatever he has going on. Same with Norris. 1 Quote
Doohickie Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 So far so good with the rebound control by Ellis. Quote
