This will be a fun one. Still in the playoffs most likely if we lose and a nice little boost if we win.

MUST WIN GAME

I expect a big win tonight. Doan has to be stoked and I’m thinking he is going to play this game like he was shot out of a cannon.

Get the W boys!

GO SABRES!!!

Git 'em!

Random fond Sabres memory: Pat Lafontaine gleefully pouring his bottled water over the head of the Sabres broadcast post-game interviewer (possibly Lorentz?!) after the Sabres had won the franchise's last game in the old Montreal Forum.

Let's Go, Buffalo!!

Biggest game of the year until the next biggest game of the year. It’s not a must win but boy would it be huge.

I play at 9, so I’m only going to be able to catch the first two periods. Hopefully we’ve got things sealed up by then. Montreal is going to be right there with us over the next few seasons. These are games we’re going to have to win. The guys are definitely buzzing right now. I’m expecting a much better win than Tuesday. Go Sabres.

UPL played very well in his last start, and then Lyon played against Nashville, and Lyon is coming off an injury, so probably UPL again?

That last game against the Habs was really exciting.  The Habs will be looking for payback tonight.  The Habs play a fast, up-and-down-the-ice game, so the new kid line of Östlund, Helenius and Benson will have room to shake and bake.  Looking forward to this one.

UPL’s road record is putrid. Better of late but not good none-the-less.

There's been a few moments during this run where I expected them to lay an egg and they didn't.

Sixth game in 9 nights, after three flights in 5 days, in a tough building on the road, against a very good team, and a highly motivated team with a point to prove, with very clear signs of fatigue showing in blue and gold. And 10 games played since their last stinker.

Every thing says 5-1 Habs.

Can they keep surprising me?

I don't like to throw this term around lightly, but a win pulls us within 2 of MTL, a loss sets us back 4. Plus we have Boston and Toronto nipping at our heels. This is an absolute MUST WIN.

Go Sabres. Expecting a big game from Doan.

Kill the frogs

I can safely say that not all frogs are Habs fans, lol.

I was a Habs fan due to my surroundings but found my own team when the French Connection arrived.

Lets go Buffalo!

This game has a playoff feel to it.

With a regulation win, Buffalo would close the gap to 3rd place to just 2 points... with a game in hand.

You ain't lying...

2-6-1 with a 3.07 GAA and .888 save percentage versus 8-1-1 with a 2.38 and .914 save percentage at home.

Lyon has been the much better road goalie at 6-3-1 with a 2.80 and .900 Save percentage.
