DarthEbriate Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Another gameday. Didn't we just leave this party? 1 Quote
Doohickie Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 I like to throw this around lightly but this time I mean it: MUST WIN! 5 Quote
Scottysabres Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Big game. We get to see who we’d like to discuss poaching from Nashville. Quote
French Collection Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Just win! Getting back on that winning horse solves a lot of issues. 1 Quote
#freejame Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Not a must win for the Sabres but boy does the city need one with this ***** weather and streak of losses. If I lived in Nashville I’d be going, but I live in Not Nashville so I’ll be missing this one live. Quote
pi2000 Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 5th game in 7 nights second half of a back-to-back on the road against a surging Nashville squad with 2 days rest. 1 Quote

OverPowerYou Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 (edited) I can finally say that I love this team again. I think we need to trade for one off those Rangers forwards they’re trading away to make our team complete. Maybe they’ll give us Shesterkin 🤣 Edited January 20 by OverPowerYou Quote

This is where we see something about what the mental make up of the group is. Tired, on the road, back to back. Now just go out and be the better team. Edited January 20 by Pimlach 4 Quote

And I suspect we'll continue to see it for at least another month. Quote

They are playing an improving team on the road and on a B2B. Give the same effort they had in Carolina and support Ellis better. Winning tonight will show me a lot. Lose tonight and they are barely .500 since the streak. Quote

K-9 Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Every team we are chasing and every team chasing us is a victim of the Olympics-induced compressed schedule and every team has felt and will continue to feel its effects at one time or another. We will know early on tonight if we have our legs or not. But should we lose, that won’t reveal anything about this team’s character one way or the other imo. All the character and grit in the world isn’t enough if you don’t have the physical ability to deliver on its promise. The boys played hard and gave it their all against a good team yesterday and I’ll be surprised if they have much left in the tank tonight. Our goalie may need to steal us a win. 1 1 Quote
LGR4GM Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Predators are a -23 in goal differential. Buffalo had some weird snakebitten voodoo nonsense going on the other day so hopefully we get a snap back to normal sh% against a team that frankly we can skate into the ground. Find a way to win. 2 Quote

How much money you make should not really be an indicator for effort. I'm making double what I made a decade ago and I do my job exactly the same way. I think it's called being a professional. 2 1 1 Quote

Stop acting like they have some real job. They are here for entertainment and winning is the only entertainment. It's why people get fired, traded if they don't win. Making excuses for a game not even played yet is so old Sabres like. Edited January 20 by Demoted Quote
