Maybe after Dunne beat Sebrango to a pulp last night he just went ahead and ate him. Now Dunne has a bad case of indigestion.

I looked up Sebrango's hockey fights.  They all pretty much look like the Dunne fight.

He takes a few shots to the head, bends away from it, and falls down.  Every time.

Tough way to make a living.

That very much looked like a “man up and answer for your crimes” bit of hockey frontier justice.

Anyone catch what Sebrango may have done? Was that the Malenstyn stick?

😂 Total brain cramp on my part. I meant to ask about Kozak.

Ruff said about a week ago that Kozak is good to go and he was listed as a scratch last night rather than being on IR.  Considering how much Ruff seems to like Krebs, you aren't taking Malenstyn out of the lineup, and Greenway is part of the leadership group and they aren't going to take McLeod nor Doan out of the lineup, nor should they; and for whatever reason (we know the reason last game, guessing Ruff expects more of the Vancouver game Jack) Quinn doesn't come out of the lineup either.

Leaves Dunne and Östlund as only possibilities to take out of the lineup for Kozak.  And one of them have already been out of most of the recent games.  Kozak doesn't bring as much offense as Östlund does and isn't as big as Dunne.  Maybe he slots in ahead of both those 2 in the near future, but not expecting it.

Kozak centers our best 4th line with Krebs and Malenstyn on his wings. Quinn needs to sit and Östlund needs to skate in his place.

But for reasons you outlined above, I doubt that will ever happen.

Why would Sebrango agree to a fight? It was a mutual decision between the combatants. What was the point or purpose of it? If taking a beating has a purpose, it escapes me. I don't get it.

There is so little jam in this lineup.

That’s just it. In the time that combo was together, they seemingly brought the jam to every shift and causing fits for whoever they skated against. I get that Greenway and Dunne are bigger, but they don’t bring as much “hard to play against” as Kozak, Krebs, and Malenstyn on a shift to shift basis. Oh well.

I would not be surprised that Dunne didn’t ask him for the scrap during warm ups.  He has before, he actually had the balls to ask DesLauriers in their last meeting.

I’m betting they agreed to it in advance.

I don't know much about the player, but if he's a borderline player, fighting might help spark the team and get him some (more) ice time.
