Five home games in eight days, some kind of record?

Anyone up for a deep dive of Sabres homestands? You only have to pore over schedules going back to 1970.

I'm going to the 14th, 15th and 17th games. 

There is another 3-in-4 stretch in late March too.

I’ll be there the 17th for my son’s first regular season game. I’d like to go on the 15th as well, but I don’t know if I can swing it. Going to be some great games, glad they’re playing well when you’re in town.

Because I’m old, wake up at three am and drink plenty of coffee, I went through every year. They’ve had twenty-six stretches of five or more home games but never five out of eight.

The closest, five out of nine in 2008, February 23rd through March 2nd. They went 1-3-1.

Before someone says that’s eight, it was a leap year.

Best two home stands;

1988/89 - 2/15-2/24 - 5-0

2006/07 -  2/7 - 2/22 - 5-0-1

It has the feel of a long lost friend coming to stay with you for awhile. We should take them up to the Falls one day.

Back when I went to most of the games, it was exactly like that, not to mention costly. You end up really wanting that friend to leave.

I’ll be at the game on the 17th with my kid. 

First Sabres game I’ve been to in 6 years, and her 2nd game. 

Last game was 1/4/20 against the Panthers.

I'm smart enough not to mess with  @Taro T . He's street tough and a person not to be trifled with. Although he may conduct himself with grace and dignity, he's cold-blooded enough to professionally stick you with a sharpened stiletto when not enough deference is given to him. 🗡️

A lot of people are not aware that the book and movie 🎥 “The Godfather” was based on @Taro T‘s life story. That’s why I’m always respectful towards him. However, I draw ✍️ the line when he expects to be deferentially 😘 kissed on the cheek. 😎
