PromoTheRobot Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 (edited) I'm leaving for Jacksonville this afternoon. Sadly the Icemen played last night at home and are in Orlando tonight. Hopefully whatever Bills backers bar will have the Sabres on tonight. In the meantime... Edited January 10 by PromoTheRobot 2 1 Quote
SabresBaltimore Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 Sabres are 9-1-0 in their last ten having lost to Columbus and ironically while Anaheim is 1-8-1 their 1 win was against Columbus. Hopefully not another trap game for a team looking to get right. Need to keep the win train rolling tonight Quote
sabresouth Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 (edited) Great to see gd thread going before 8am central time. There's been a lot of times in the past that it didn't get started until after noon when sabres were loosing a lot Got to keep the wins coming. Most of the teams around us are playing today. Got to win just to keep up. LET'S GO SABRES!!! Edited January 10 by sabresouth 2 Quote

Mango Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 I'm a huge Bills fan and probably a bigger NFL fan than NHL. But man...the world is brighter and the city of Buffalo is better when the Sabres are rolling. 8 Quote
Mustache of God Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 If I had to pick a game for us to lose over the next few games this would be it. That being said, I'd prefer a 3 game win streak. 1 Quote
#freejame Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 Must watch TV tonight. Keep it going! Go Sabres. 5-3 good guys. 1 Quote

I'm not going to say that the Sabres are a bigger deal to the area than the football team, because it is not. However, what I can say is that the region, that includes southern Ontario, is a tremendous hockey market that has been suppressed due to the franchise's own long-term ineptitude. I will even go so far as saying that due to the high cost of tickets for the Maple Leaf games, it has the potential to make some inroads in that market because of the lower costs. This recently dormant market is ready to embrace a team that appears to be a serious factor in the league. And I'm ecstatic about that. Edited January 10 by JohnC 4 Quote
Night Train Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 Watching Sabres. Recording Bandits. Possible daily double. Go BUFFALO ! Quote
Pimlach Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 The Ducks are desperate. The Sabres need to take this seriously and play 60 minutes. Home crowd will be expecting a W. 3 2 Quote

French Collection Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 Just win! Win and have the other teams worry about the standings. Truck the Ducks! Let’s go Buffalo! Quote

The season is longer, October to June (if you're lucky), with more games per week. So when you're team is rolling you get hyped a few times per week. 2. Buffalo loves hockey. Quote

To take him out you need a viable replacement and I don’t think Kozak or Dunne are that and I like both guys for what they bring. I think Jarmo wants a top 6 winger to push Krebs down maybe into Quinn’s spot but we shall see. And maybe Jarmo is looking to move Quinn in a deal and scratching him right now doesn’t help that process. Quote
