DeBoer would be a choice I would jump up and down for simply because it was not coming from this incestuous cesspool of misery and failure...  but like you I think the best we get is Keko and Appert and more failure as we watch players demand trades and all we get are picks and prospects.... 

I will say this.. please dont fire Lindy before Adams... I do not want Adams to make another coaching choice... then again its probably Pegula making the picks...

Housley - Not in the NHL or in coaching 

Kreuger - nothing listed for current employment 

Bottom line, not one recent coach even has a job in the NHL anymore...  Granato and Kruger didnt even get a look, Housley was fired twice as an assistant in a few years and is out of the league...  

Ruff is clearly not all that and I believe when he is fired the inevitable will be he is out of the NHL as well...  this is not a referendum on these men... but it is an observation that NHL execs certainly are not clamoring to give these guys a job... like any job... Ruff in his day was very good... but he is out of touch I believe and just looks plain old tired... like I cant fix this... please fire me soon... Bottom line Adams coaching hires (or Pegula's I am not sure) are uninspired, lack competence and are clearly not in demand for literally any job in this league... 

Is Muckler still alive? I know Scottie lives in Williamsville still on the transit Valley golf course... maybe he can coach via zoom call like we do our scouting... 

 

 

 

 

Who is clamoring for any coach from the past?  I've defended Granato's record. There is no denying that Granato got far more out of the team than Ruff has gotten.  But, defending Granato's record isn't the same as arguing he should still be the coach.  Better coaches than Granato are fired all of the time.  The point is that Granato  was fired after getting much more out of much less.

It appears that the Utah coach knows how to utilize Peterka to get offensive production and minimize the negative defensive outcomes.

They're 6-11-3 since November 1st though.

Just fire them both and be done with it.  Jarmo can hire whoever he's got on speed dial to finish out the season.

Good thing the Sabres are lucky enough to have 3 great goalies to justify keeping all 3 of them and taking up that extra roster spot.
