Shoot da Puck Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago (edited) We could win this one, but I am not sure. Who is in goal again? Edited 8 hours ago by Shoot da Puck 1 Quote
#freejame Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago I made it to 2-0 last night. I’ve got my own hockey game at 9 tonight. How wonderful it would be to come back and watch the third period of a dominate Sabres win. 1 1 Quote
Pimlach Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Lyon or Ellis? It doesn’t really matter who plays behind this team. Feeling the team is at a new low right now. 1 Quote

clink Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Thank God for an irrelevant team and a WC trip Makes sleeping on this team's "effort" soooooo much easier 😃 1 1 Quote
pi2000 Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago This feels like a pivotal game on the roady, a turning point for the season... or perhaps the franchise as a whole. Maybe they finally pull it together? <enter goalie name> shines and with growing confidence they string together some wins, vaulting themselves into playoff contention by the turn of the new year. 4 1 Quote

It’s possible, however unlikely, the Sabres might find a winning streak, and exploit it. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Yeah, zero interest staying up for this one. Maybe to see McDavid but even then I don't think so Quote

Maybe to see McDavid but even then I don't think so The Sabres have always done a good job of shutting McDavid down, so there's very little reason to watch. At this point I'm hoping they get swept on this trip with the hope it'll result in the entire front office being canned, but that's wishful thinking. Quote

Mr Peabody Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago (edited) My give a crp meter is also low but I’ll watch them all and hope the cavalry is coming to save this franchise. Edited 5 hours ago by Mr Peabody Quote
zow2 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago I'll have to hammer the Oilers ML tonight. Not great odds but still it's nearly an automatic win for the Oil. The Sabres suck and they're not sweeping Edmonton this season. Quote
LTS Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Today is the day.. they can establish a new lowest point in franchise history. It's important to have goals, in this case the good news is that the Sabres can achieve them without having to actually score goals. 1 1 Quote

Maybe ROR wins them the game in OT? Anyway, if Nashville were somehow able to defeat Colorado tonight and the Sabres lose tonight... Then the loser of Thursday's game in Vancouver would be for last place in the NHL. 1 Quote

And getting bottom 6 minutes. Its only 1/3 of a season, but he's scaling to be a 20+ goal scorer eventually if/when he gets more minutes. Now, truth be told, his numbers are AWFUL when he isn't playing with Draisaitl. And they move him with Draisaitl, and all of a sudden he looks good. Edited 3 hours ago by mjd1001 Quote

There really is no reason to win from here on out. It's not tanking, they are just plain bad. Zero chance they can get a 9 or 10 game win streak, so you might as well embrace the losses. Pick in the top 3 most likely, trade Tage, trade dahlin, trade tuch, and start from scratch. Get the new GM and have a brand new identity from top to bottom. These players will all want out, if they already have not made ultimatums already. It's the right thing to do and there is one thing we already know...it CAN'T be any worse than it is right now. We as fans have to accept defeat, and so does Pegula. The flame has been extinguished, and only a complete overhaul will be able to get energy back into that building. It's gonna suck, but there are no other answers... 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Last year this far into the season, the Sabres were more than half way through their 13 game losing strek....8 games into it. Even though last years team at game 29 was on an 8 game losing streak.....their record last year was 11-14-4 The record this year? 11-14-4. 1 Quote
