Everyone should remember that the Flames were a consensus bottom-5 finisher in preseason predictions. They are currently bottom 3 in the league, right on course.

They're skating circles around the Sabres, whose GM has had 6 seasons and tons of capital (and Eichel/Reinhart/etc.) as assets to rebuild his new core.

Hey Sabres, tomorrow you've got Edmonton. Edmonton who has scored 28 goals in their last 6 games. And one of those games they lost 1-0 to the uberhot Wild Wallstedt. So really, that's 28 goals in 5 games. You're going to want to start skating a little harder.

Ruff and Adams should both be gone before the Christmas hiatus. I’d do it the minute they get back from this road trip that will surely secure yet another lost season in cement.  Bring in Jarmo with Torts as HC. Would brighten a pretty dark and dull holiday time in Sabreland and at least give possible hope for 2026 and beyond.
