I'll bet they lose Tuch for nothing next summer.    Decision for a trade can't be made before the deadline.   They then try to re-sign him but he decides to go elsewhere.

The Sabres had the better chances and outplayed them for much of the period.  But, give up a break away off of an offensive zone turnover, and then a final minute break down by our “top line” who are -2

I can't imagine anyone being on it.   I defend him as much as anyone but he ain't "it".  Get rid of UPL or Lyon and play Ellis predominantly.   See what he can give you

This is an organizational failure. I mean honestly, wtf do they do during shooting practice, hold ritual bloopers competitions? It’s mind boggling, simply mind boggling just how bad they are at accuracy, deciding when to shoot.

It’s not all UPL.  He stopped a penalty shot.  He was lost on some other plays, had help from two posts.  We are outplaying them but can’t bury it.  Sabres hitting posts too   

I would look at breaking up the  “top line”.

Despite UPL’s .820 he’s outplaying our “top” line.  Our supposed “best” players seem to be vastly overrated.

This is a recurring theme for the last few years.   
in games they really need to win Tage and Tuch have been non existent

What difference would that make? Honest question. We aren’t getting results now, what difference would it make if Torts came in? These players need a kick in the arse.

Yeah, and the other 98% of the time UPL plays that I do. Watch means nothing I guess.

How about When he allows soft goals. When he gets beat cleanly on non-screened shots from 20 ft out that he should be ready for. When he gets beat to the outside of his pads because he can't get over quick enough. All those times over the past year and a half... Those mean something too.

He has been so bad that at some point he has to play exceptional to make up for all of his bad play in the past.

That sounds like recent games at Pittsburgh and vs New Jersey.
